Peer Review Process
JHHR adheres to a strict double-blind peer-review process that helps uphold high standards of academic publishing. The names of authors and reviewers remain anonymous during the entire process, making sure that the review is objective and bias-free.
Prior to being sent out for external review, all manuscripts go through preliminary assessment to check whether they:
- Aligns with the journal scope.
- Original and significant contribution to scholarship.
- Uses appropriate research methodology.
- Adheres to standards of academic writing and presentation.
- Respects ethical issues in research and publication.
Only those papers which pass through the editorial review process are then sent to independent experts who have knowledge about the subject matter. The reviewers review the submissions based on criteria like originality, methodology, evidence, presentation, contributions to the existing body of research, and overall significance.
Possible editorial decisions include:

Constructive reviewer feedback is provided whenever possible to help authors improve the quality of their research.
