Article Processing Charge

The Journal of Heritage and Historical Research (JHHR) adopts an open access model of publication in order to ensure that the research is as accessible as possible, while maintaining high standards of the editing and publication process.

No submission and peer review fees are required. The authors are not charged anything during the initial and external peer review process.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) becomes applicable and only in the event that the manuscript has been accepted for publication. APC takes care of the expenses incurred during the publication process such as editing, peer review management, professional copy-editing, formatting, proofreading, publication in online journals, website maintenance, digital archiving, and online hosting.

Transparency in terms of publication costs is important to the journal. Information on the APC, its payment, institutional assistance, billing, and the waiver policy will be available from the editorial office and journal website.
